Jelly Bean Fun!!

We used jelly beans to add, count, and sort! Fun!! :)

Easter egg addition and sight words!

Using plastic Easter eggs, I wrote addition math facts and sight words around them. Then I took them apart, and Harry had to match them. :)

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the park, tossed Easter eggs everywhere, and then we had to go find them! Easy and fun. :)

Chocolate Chip Spinach Banana Muffins


Ok, it sounds strange, but it is good!! I promise! 

Here's what you need:
2 1/2 cups flour 
1 teaspoon baking soda 
1 teaspoon baking powder 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
1 teaspoon salt 
5 cups spinach 
1 cup brown sugar 
2 bananas 
1/2 avocado 
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup coconut oil 

What to do:

1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees 

2. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, chocolate chips, and salt) in a large bowl. 

3. In a blender, blend the wet ingredients (vanilla extract, spinach, banana, abocado, milk, brown sugar, and coconut oil) until very smooth. 

4. Combine all ingredients and mix well. 

5. Pour into a muffin/cupcake pan.

6. Bake for about 25 minutes. 

7. Cool and enjoy!!!



Rainbow Cookies


It's actually easier than it looks. I used a roll of sugar cookie dough, divided it into 7 balls. I dyed each ball of dough the color of the rainbow. Then I rolled out the dough and placed one layer on top of the other. Cut the dough to resemble rainbow shapes. Bake at 350F degrees for 10 minutes. 


Rainbow Bread


Rainbow bread!! Way cool!!! It's easier than it looks too!

Here's what you need:

2 cups whole wheat flour 
3 eggs
1 teaspoon salt 
1 1/3 cup milk
Food coloring 


What to do:

1. Mix all ingredients together. 

2. Separate the dough into 7 balls.

3. Dye each ball a different color of the rainbow. 

4. Roll out the dough and layer each color according to the rainbow. ROYGBIV

5. Cut the dough into rainbow slices of bread and place on a cookie sheet.

6. Bake at 350F degrees for 16-20 minutes.

7. Cool and enjoy!!
